Hi Magee's! I am announcing my new book, Kentucky: An Explorer's Guide It is now available and I wanted to let you know that it includes an entry on Magee's Bakery and Farm in the 'To See' section of the Maysville chapter. One taste of that Transparent Pie and I knew it was a place I wanted to recommend in the book! As I traveled KY researching the book, Magee's was the most-recommended place in Maysville. EVERYONE told me to go there! So, I want you to know that you have a lot of loyal, local fans! We (my husband, 2 teenagers and I) found our way to your farm and bought some small transparent pies. A couple to eat right then, and a few to save for home....well, I'm sure you've heard this story before... none made it home. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The book is available through all major book sellers and my website. I hope this entry brings all kinds of travelers in!
